Using urgency, fear, authority, and manipulation, they persuade victims to disclose passwords or verification codes, install remote-access software, or transfer money. Existing caller-ID and spam-blocking solutions primarily rely on known-number databases and user reports. However, scammers frequently change numbers, spoof legitimate identities, and use previously unreported numbers. As a result, many dangerous calls are not recognized until after the victim has already suffered financial or emotional harm. VocaGuard addresses this gap by focusing not only on who is calling, but also on how the conversation behaves. Our AI-powered solution identifies suspicious social-engineering patterns during the call and warns the user in real time, when intervention can still prevent the scam. VocaGuard is designed to protect individuals, older adults, families, employees, and businesses. Through Family Guard, trusted relatives can also receive alerts when a vulnerable family member may be facing a suspicious interaction. Our goal is to create an accessible, privacy-focused layer of protection that works at the critical moment between the scammer’s manipulation and the victim’s action—before money is transferred or sensitive information is exposed.

VocaGuard provides an AI-powered, real-time protection layer against phone scams and social-engineering attacks. Unlike conventional caller-ID applications that mainly check whether a phone number has previously been reported, VocaGuard analyzes behavioral warning signs during the call. The system looks for patterns commonly used by scammers, such as creating urgency or fear, impersonating trusted organizations, requesting passwords or verification codes, directing the user to install remote-access software, or pressuring them to transfer money. When suspicious behavior is detected, VocaGuard immediately warns the user through clear visual, audio, and vibration alerts. This gives the user an opportunity to stop, reconsider the request, end the call, or verify the caller independently before taking an irreversible action. Our Family Guard feature adds another layer of protection. With the user’s permission, a trusted family member can be notified when a potentially dangerous interaction is detected. This is particularly valuable for older adults, vulnerable individuals, and families supporting relatives from a distance. VocaGuard is being designed with privacy at its core and supports multiple languages, including Hebrew, English, Arabic, Russian, Spanish, and French. The solution can serve individual consumers while also being distributed through banks, insurers, telecom operators, employers, and organizations supporting senior citizens. By combining conversational risk detection, immediate intervention, and optional family support, VocaGuard protects users at the most critical moment—after manipulation begins but before money or sensitive information is lost.
