Our mission is to make beverage containers smarter, safer, and more sustainable. We are developing a patented closure solution for standard aluminum cans that enables new use cases, increases product value, and simultaneously addresses requirements for safety, hygiene, and resource conservation. The focus is on a solution that can be integrated into existing systems without requiring a redesign of the can itself.

Beverage cans are usually not resealable once opened. This leads to a loss of quality, hygiene issues, unnecessary waste, and limited applications for products that require safety measures or controlled consumption. At the same time, many existing solutions are difficult to scale technically or economically because they interfere with the can itself rather than complementing it as a system.

CanShield is a patented on-shell closure solution for standard aluminum cans. The solution is attached to the can and allows for reclosure without modifying the base system. This creates a scalable approach for new product categories, greater user convenience, and additional safety features, particularly for sensitive applications.
