Texochat is a decentralized, privacy-first messaging and communication platform built for the blockchain and crypto ecosystem. The project addresses a growing problem faced by crypto communities, startups, and users who currently rely on centralized messaging apps like Telegram and Discord for critical communication. Texochat solves this by combining traditional messaging with blockchain-based communication, allowing users to choose their level of privacy, security, and decentralization. It uses wallet-based authentication instead of phone numbers or emails, reducing spam and enabling self-sovereign identity. Messages and data are secured using blockchain and IPFS, ensuring decentralization, data integrity, and resistance to censorship.
